There are facts tosupport this story as note many deeds from Buford to Nancy and manydee ds of freedom given by Buford in Casey Co. grantor and granteerecords. I believe that Mrs. Keesler of IND picked up this story fromthe family in Casey Co., KY. There are many deeds listing: Valentine, Austin, Thomas J., Robinson and Buford Peyton in the 1850's, at whichtime they must've been settling their Mother's estate..."  tree1
