Moved to Paso Robles, CA, after living in Placerville for two years. They had 7 kids born in Paso Robles. When Paso Robles incorporated Feb 25, 1889, he was one of the original incorporators & Pres of the Board of Trustees. He was a Co. Supv. for San Luis Obispo for 17 years, sch trustee for 4, and the county rep to the state legislature. He refused a nomination for governorship, at the State Dem Conv. in 1877. The last few years of Louisa & Drury's lives, they lived in San Francisco. He & his bro-in-law, last name Blackburn, donated the land for the Paso Robles Park and is supposed to listed in name on the memorial marker at the park. This information according to an unknown book found at the So Cal Gen Society.
