  	25 May 1942 No.22 OTU Wellington IC AD625 Ground. While waiting for clearance to take-off from Stratford-upon-Avon, the Wellington was struck at 0240 by another of the unit's aircraft and totally destroyed. Both survivors were taken to Stratford Hospital, very seriously injured. A particularly strong cross-wind was deemed to have been a contributory factor in this tragic accident.
