Only issue with them being our James F's parents, is marrage date of 1814; maybe 2nd mar for Edmund? Edmund and family were neighbors of George C and Henry Carpenter. (Henry was James F's father-in-law...Letha's Dad.)

• Notes

  Edmund was about 15 when he migrated to KY from VA with fa, Absalom, brother, Sanders, Absalom's second wife, and children from that marriage. He did not marry Malinda Rousey until 1814, making him 29, and that left lots of time for another, first marriage. (Our James F. was born 1812.) Have found no other marriage for him, though, in Lincoln Co., and if his birth date is correct (1785) it would appear that he would have been only 15 at time of migration to KY.
