- Wife, Anna, to use and benefit by the plantation they own. "I know live on 30 acres of wood land with the labor of my negro fellow Dick with a third part of my other moveables during widowhood, and then to my two sons, George and Absalom Russell, all the land I am possessed of to be equally divided between them and their heirs and assigns forever, to my two sons George and Absalom my moveable estate except what I have lent my wife..."Exr: Well beloved wife Anne Russell, son George Russell..."hoping they will see the same duly performed as my trust in them is reposed...."
Codicil spelled out that should the two sons die before they come of age, Sarah, Lucretia and Judith shall have everything then divided among them.
The will had also provided for one shilling sterling to William and his family, Ann, Sarah, Lucreasy, Buckner, Judith and their families as well; to Elizabeth, part of his moveable estate to value of fifteen pounds.
